Skoden Farm LLC
Skoden Farm is bridging tradition, convenience, and food sovereignty. Now operating on subleased land in Aztec, New Mexico, our presence there is a deliberate step in supporting the Land Back movement and reclaiming Indigenous agricultural spaces. This season, we are hard at work producing traditional steamed corn and roasted blue corn. Our ultimate vision is to transform these harvests into Skoden Snacks, an Indigenous superfood line debuting at the end of the season to address the critical need for healthy, accessible, on-the-go nourishment in our communities.
Skoden Farm is a limited liability company registered and operating domestically in New Mexico.
ABOUT OUR FARM
Our work is driven by a dedication to the critical need to preserve traditional foodways. We operate as a dedicated cultivation organization, actively advocating food sovereignty by prioritizing sustainable practices, and local sourcing.
As the young adult founder of Skoden Farm, my mission extends beyond the harvest. I am passionate about creating on-the-job training opportunities and encouraging the next generation of young Diné farmers to continue this vital work to care for the land and grow traditional, nutritious foods.
